Putin wies an, ein visumfreies Regime für Ausländer vorzubereiten
Russian President Putin has instructed to allow unilateral visa-free travel for foreigners.
Putin set a June 1, 2023, deadline for his prime minister, foreign and internal ministers and for head of the Federal Security Service (FSB).
President has ordered to facilitate visa-free tourism, business, educational, sports and cultural travel even if these countries require visas for Russians to visit.
The President proposed to renew e-visa program for citizens of so-called “friendly” countries and extend the validity of multiple entry tourist visas.
Putin also ordered to increase the volume of air travel with “friendly” countries.
The departments were instructed to extend visa-free entry and temporary stay for cruise ship passengers. Now this provision applies only to St. Petersburg.
