Die Einführung einer vereinfachten Visaregelung im Gebiet der Freien Hafen von Wladiwostok wurde auf unbestimmte Zeit verschoben
According to the press service of the Ministry for Development of the Far East of Russia, the introduction of a simplified visa regime for foreign citizens crossing the Russian border through the territory of the Free port of Vladivostok will be delayed due to the lack of approved regulations.
“Given the fact that the spring session of the State Duma lasted until June 27, the regulatory legal acts providing the simplified visa regime to foreign nationals entering the country through the checkpoints located on the territory of Free port of Vladivostok cannot be adopted by July 1”, – announced the press service of the Ministry for Development of the Far East.
Initially, the introduction of a simplified visa regime was scheduled for January 1, 2016 but later it was postponed to July 1, 2016. At the moment, the exact date of the introduction of a simplified visa regime in the territory of the Free port of Vladivostok is still unknown.
It should be recalled that according to the draft government decree, foreign nationals crossing the Russian border through the territory of the Free port of Vladivostok will be issued electronic eight-day Russian visas. To obtain this visa, a foreign citizen will need to submit an application on a specialized website no later than three days prior to the intended date of entry into the country. When the personal data are checked by specialized competent authorities of the Russian Federation, a foreign national will receive a notification of granting him an entry visa to the country.
