Das Moskauer Innenministerium stellt Einladungen nur in elektronischer Form aus

Effective 1 October 2019 the Ministry of Internal Affairs in Moscow began to issue invitations for entry to the Russian Federation only in electronic format.

In addition payment orders must be submitted with a package of applications from settlement account of the inviting organization.

Originals of invitation of the Ministry of Internal Affairs on the form are out of circulation. Now invitations are sent electronically directly to the Russian Consulate abroad.

For information, some corrections are possible only in case of errors made by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, in particular regarding name or place of birth of a foreign citizen.

A visa can be issued only at the Russian consulate indicated in the invitation.
