Tours booking will be one of the functions of a fundamentally new information system, aimed at the development of domestic and inbound tourism. One of the elements of the system will be an updated National Tourist portal. “The winners have to offer the best form of interaction between government and business in light of contemporary realities, and subsequently to improve it in accordance with legislation changes,” – the media quote by the departments statement.

Under the terms of the competition, the national tourism information system should be established by the end of 2015, to develop it is planned to spend about 224 million rubles.

The system should be fully accountable to modern economic realities and legislation, and still be soft enough to adjust to the changing Russian realities.
