Russlands Visaerleichterungsverhandlungen mit 18 Ländern

Ivan Volynkin, director of the consular department of the Russian Foreign Ministry, said that negotiations are underway between Russia and 18 countries to simplify the visa regime.

The list of these countries includes the states of Latin America and the Caribbean, Malaysia, China and Hong Kong.

Volynkin noted that at this stage the draft agreement on abolition of visa requirements with Malaysia is being coordinated. Improving agreement on visa-free group tourist trips with China is under negotiation. The issue of increasing the period of visa-free trips with the Hong Kong side is also being worked out.
