Since April 1, Russia to resume regular international flights with six countries. The emergency operations center to prevent the importation and spread of new coronavirus infection in the Russian Federation in agreement with Mikhail Mishustin informs that it was decided to resume regular international flights with Germany, Venezuela, Syria, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan and Sri Lanka. Opening of the airspace on a reciprocal basis is planned from April 1, 2021.

Also, from April 1, the number of regular flights will increase from Cuba, Belarus, Armenia, Azerbaijan, Egypt, and the United Arab Emirates.

Besides, from April 1, it was decided to resume regular international flights from airports: Barnaul, Belgorod, Volgograd, Voronezh, Kaluga, Krasnodar, Lipetsk, Nalchik, Orenburg, Saratov, Sochi, Tyumen and Yuzhno-Sakhalinsk.

The emergency operations center reminds that foreign citizens are required to have a negative coronavirus test done by PCR no earlier than 72 hours before the flight to Russia. Russian citizens must take a PCR test upon arrival in Russia within 72 hours.
