Russland hat im Jahr 2012 eine Quote für die Beschäftigung von Ausländern angenommen
Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin signed a decree establishing a limit on the number of migrants who can get a job in Russia in 2012. Migration quota is 1,745,584 people. This year the quota was 1.74 million.
“To define for the 2012 the need of the Russian Federation in foreign employers in the amount of 1,745,584 people... To approve for the 2012 the quotas for foreign nationals: 460,510 invitations to enter the Russian Federation for work; 1,745,584 work permits” – quotes the mass media the document.
The document notes that most of the foreigners will come to Russia for mining, repair and construction works (531,320). Also, Russia has a need for skilled workers in agricultural production, forestry and hunting, fishing (112,417).
The situation with the issue of migration quotas changed in 2010 when a number of amendments was adopted greatly simplifying the procedure for foreigners to work in Russia. The quota for foreign workers in 2010 amounted to nearly two million people.
