Ein Abkommen über die Anerkennung von Visa zwischen Russland und Belarus
Russia and Belarus until the end of the year will sign a final agreement on mutual recognition of visas. A common migration space will be formed on the territory of the two countries.
“In the near future, experts of the two countries will discuss the agreement on mutual recognition of visas and other documents for staying on the territory of the allied state. The agreement is expected to be signed this year,” — the report said.
It will be recalled that an agreement on a common migration card is operated on the territory of Russia and Belarus. There is also an agreement on readmission that provides for the reception and the transfer of illegal migrants who have arrived from one state to another.
According to the head of the department on citizenship and migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus Alexey Begun, cooperation and control of people arriving to the territory of Belarus according to the visa-free regime was established jointly with Russian colleagues. As noted, violators are included in the list of persons that the entry to the territory of the allied state is forbidden or undesirable.
It is necessary to emphasize that at the moment the plan of measures for the formation of a common migration space for 2017–2020 has been approved.
As reported that at the beginning of 2017 Belarus introduced a visa-free regime for citizens of 80 countries. Russia, in its turn, created a border zone between Belarus and Russia and transferred the flights from Belarus at airports to international zones.
