Es wird einfacher, einen Job in Russland für ausländische Studenten zu bekommen

Full-time foreign students studying in Russian universities and living in hostels provided by these universities may be allowed to get a job without license; such bill was introduced in the State Duma by deputies from CPRF last week.

To acquire right to simplified job placement, student should get temporary registration in a hostel. The simplified form will be only for students, after the graduation of university, student should return to standard legislative regulations.

In addition, it is planned to issue residence permit in Russia for foreign students without quotas approved by the Government of the Russian Federation.

Currently, employers have the right to employ foreigners only with license or with work permit. The exceptions are students studying in Russian universities, foreigners, who work during their holidays or during free time in organizations and structures organized by the autonomous university or government-financed university.

The deputies note that foreign students frequently do not have means to get license that deprives them possibility of legal employment in Russia for the duration of training.
