Im Grenzdienst des FSB begann die Dokumente aller ausländischen Staatsangehörigen der Ankunft in Moskau von Minsk zu überprüfen
The Border Guard Service of the Russian Federal Security Service began to check the documents of passengers arriving at Moscow airports from Minsk. As noted, the inspection of documents will be carried out at all the airports of Moscow, but it remains to be seen how long the FSS officers will exercise such a strict control.
Earlier, the President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko signed a decree on visa-free regime for citizens of 80 countries, including the US and EU countries. The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Belarus assured that undesirable aliens will not enter Russia after such innovations.
In turn, the deputy spokesman for the State Border Committee of Belarus Anton Bychkovskiy noted that there is neither departing nor arrival border control on internal flights between Russia and Belarus at Minsk National Airport.
The press service of the Russian FSS reported that they began to check passports of all passengers arriving in the capital from Minsk. The primary goal of such actions is to prevent the Belarusian-Russian border from being crossed by residents of third countries. The ministry reminded that Russians and Belarusians may visit each other without obtaining a visa, but this agreement does not apply to citizens of other countries.
