The Philippine Star newspaper reported that the authorities of Philippines are considering lifting PCR testing and coronavirus vaccination requirements for arrivals.
The publication informs that the Minister of Tourism of the Republic, Maria Cristina Frasco announced the abolition of PCR testing and the requirement for full vaccination of foreigners before traveling to the Philippines.
Unvaccinated foreign tourists must have permission to enter the Philippines upon presentation of a rapid antigen test taken no earlier than 24 hours prior to arrival in the country. It is planned to make it optional to wear a mask indoors.
The government should announce the entry date for the new entry protocols.
