In Moskau und St. Petersburg auszustellende E-Visa

According to the deputy chairman of the city tourism development committee Nana Gvichiya, the issuance of electronic visas to foreign tourists coming to Moscow and St. Petersburg will begin in 2020.

“Moscow, St. Petersburg and Sevastopol being cities of federal importance are considered as pilot ones before the introduction of legislation in 2021 when electronic visas are available. We hope that Moscow and St. Petersburg will be able to take advantage of this opportunity next year,” Gvichiya said on Thursday.

It is assumed that the number of information and contact centers for tourists will expand in St. Petersburg. It is also supposed to introduce the system of electronic visas throughout the country.

According to experts, 4 million foreign visitors visited St. Petersburg in 2018.
