Der Ansatz für die Erteilung von Visa wird in Großbritannien geändert

For the first time after the expulsion of diplomats after incident in the British Salisbury, diplomatic staff of the Russian embassy in the United Kingdom was increased.

However, according to a spokesman of the Russian diplomatic mission, the Russian embassy in Britain does not have any information about change of position of the United Kingdom in visas issuing to Russian diplomats.

“The embassy does not have any information about change in the UK’s position regarding visa issuance to Russian diplomatic staff”, spokesman for the Russian embassy in Britain said.

It should be recalled that earlier the British authorities decided to expel 23 diplomats, despite the fact that there are still no official results of the investigation into the Salisbury incident.

In turn, Russia responded by expel British diplomats which affected work of the British Embassy.

“We would like to emphasize that we did not initiate starting of process of bilateral relations degradation. It was choice of the British side, in fact, official London put itself in a deadlock”, said spokesman.

Russia has always spoken in support of bilateral relations establishment and interaction with London.
