Änderung der Karten Fans, so dass die visumfreie Einreise nach Russland
The State Duma Committee amended at the second reading the law regulating the issuance of fan identity cards allowing the visa-free entry to Russia.
“The deadline is running out, and the issue must be resolved. This is a strong request of the government due to the Confederations Cup and the World Championship, so the amendments must be accepted as soon as possible”, – said the head of the State Duma Financial Market Committee Anatoly Aksakov.
As noted earlier, an ID card will allow the visa-free entry to Russia for fans intending to visit the 2017 Confederations Cup and the 2018 World Cup.
It should be stressed that the possibility of introducing the visa-free entry to the territory of Russia for spectators of sports competitions was discussed during the meeting. Entry into Russia will be allowed within the limited period: from 72 hours before the first World Cup or the Confederations Cup match and till the day of the last World Cup or the Confederations Cup match. Fans will be able to enter the country on electronic fan ID cards without visas.
According to the bill, to enter and leave Russia, foreign participants of sports competitions will be issued multiple-entry humanitarian visas. Foreign nationals who take part in the events but do not participate in the competitions will receive multiple-entry business or work visas.
