13 Tausend hochqualifizierte Fachkräfte kamen in Russland zur Arbeit

About 33 thousand people, of whom 13 thousand are highly qualified specialists, and 20 thousand are qualified specialists came to work in Russia since the beginning of this year, – informed the head of the Federal Migration Service Konstantin Romodanovsky.

“To date about 13 thousand highly qualified specialists came to work in Russia. Should be noted that this category will be counted not by hundreds, but by tens of thousands of people. There is another category of qualified specialists – it makes about 20 thousand people” – the agency “RIA Novosti” quotes the words of Romodanovsky.

In addition, foreign workers have got more than 2 million patents and 1.3 million of foreigners are still working in Russia.

Among the foreigners who already worked in the country, there are also some positive changes – 900 thousand of illegal migrants have been able to obtain a patent and are now working on legal grounds.

Commenting on the number of highly qualified specialists, Romodanovsky said that Russia is close to the lower border of the number of foreign specialists needed for its economy.
