Ausländische Touristen können für 6 Monate ein Touristenvisum für Russland erhalten

On August 25 the law on the issuance of visas to foreign tourists to Russia entered into force. Foreigners can obtain a visa for 6 months with hotel confirmation.

Previously, ordinary tourist visas were issued for a period of up to 30 days or on the basis of the principle of reciprocity – valid up to six months.

Now tourist visas will be issued for six months if the tourist has confirmation of acceptance by the organization registered with the Unified Federal Register of Tour Operators, or hotel on booking information or other accommodation confirmation, included in the federal list of classified hotels and other accommodation facilities.
