Se construirán campos de deporte, pesca y turismo de bienestar en la región de Sakhalin

Several tourist camps will be built on lakes in the Sakhalin region. Such a measure will allow the region to develop sport, fishing, wellness and other forms of tourism. Each tourist place will be able to accommodate up to 240 people a day.

“It is planned to build six tourist camps on the lakes Otkrytoye, Izmenchivoye, Ainskoye, Busse, in Lunskoy bay and Tikhaya bay. Constructions will be carried out on the basis of public-private partnership”, – was reported at the regional agency for tourism.

In the near future it is planned to create 10 year-round tourist camps in the most popular tourist locations of Sakhalin.

As noted, it is planned to build 2 tourist camps on the Moneron island which is considered to be a natural park. Popular seasons on Moneron are July, August and September. In 2015 it was visited by 475 people. This year, three times more visitors are expected.

According to the Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Rogozin, in order to develop the tourism, in the near future the border zone regime will be removed from a number of areas of the Sakhalin region.
