The proposal to abolish visas for the EU and the US citizens
The head of the Committee on Economic Policy, Innovative Development and Entreprise Anatoly Aksakov made a proposal to abolish unilaterally visa requirements for EU and US citizens.
“When we abolished visas between our country and Israel, the tourist flow increased significantly. We could abolish visas, but it is important to be responsible and to do it with those countries that did not cause us the problems in terms of the arrival of undesirable elements” – he said.
According to Aksakov, it will increase the number of tourists. Other countries examples confirm that the liberalization of the visa regime increases the number of tourists and has a positive effect on the economy and the growth of budget revenues.
