Foreigners violated the immigration law will be barred from entry to Russia for 10 years

The Russian government considered the bill that will forbid the foreigners violated Russian immigration law, to re-enter the country for 10 years.

“We are considering another bill, it concerns the order of entry into the Russian Federation. It aims at improving the efficiency of legal migration. We specify the cases when the entry into Russia may be restricted or not allowed to a foreign citizen... If such cases (violation of the immigration rules) are committed repeatedly, the foreign citizen cannot enter Russia for 10 years,” – quotes the agency “RIA Novosti” the words of Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev.

This decision was taken to improve the quality of the migration in Russia and to increase the number of specialists in demand of foreign nationality.

In this case we are not talking about reducing the flow of migration to Russia. Thus, according to the head of the Federal Migration Service Konstantin Romodanovsky to resolve the demographic and economic challenges of Russia we need in average of about 300,000 immigrants annually.
