Foreigners participating in large competitions will be able to travel to Russia without visas
Up to October 20, the Ministry of Culture of Russia will prepare and will bring the bill on the abolition of visas for participants and members of the jury in main international competitions and festivals, – said the first deputy minister of culture of Russia Vladimir Aristarkhov. In particular, the innovation will affect the upcoming International Tchaikovsky Competition.
In May, the bill was passed by the Duma, but it canceled only the visa regime for one specific competition without changing the regular rules of the entrance of the participants to Russia.
