The Ministry of Economic Development has proposed to maintain the second citizenship obtaining the passport of the Russian Federation. The accompanying documents, that were prepared for the draft of the federal budget for 2020–2022, say that in the future foreign citizens will not have to renounce the citizenship of another country to acquire the Russian citizenship.
