
Visas rules at Russia Visa Application Center in the UK
Starting July 25, restrictions on entry to Russia were lifted for British citizens applying for all types of visas.
All applications for Russian visas are submitted exclusively at Russia Visa Application Center.
Russia Visa Application Center in London stresses that foreign citizens must provide documents confirming legal status of residence in the UK:
– UK passport
– Biometric resident card (BRP card)
– Permanent residence permit (ILR card).
EU citizens must present UK residence card (blue card). Proofs of address in the form of bank statements are not currently accepted. Only UK residence card or settled status must be presented.
All foreign citizens are required to have medical certificate confirming negative test result for COVID-19 by PCR method, obtained not earlier than three days before arriving in Russia; otherwise, the foreigner may be denied boarding. Masks are required at Russia Visa Application Center.
Documents can be submitted at Russia Visa Application Center in London from Monday to Friday from 8:30–15:00 without appointment.
The Edinburgh office will reopen on Wednesday 29 July 2020, while the Manchester office will be closed until further notice.
Visa applications based on electronic invitation issued by relevant Directorate-General for Migration of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia will be accepted from 9:00 to 12:00 and from 14:00 to 15:00.
