In new Moscow the settlements for foreigners will be constructed

In new Moscow it is planned to build the settlements for foreign specialists and their families in the network of development in Moscow of the global financial center, – informs the deputy head of the Department of Economic Policy and Development of Moscow Alexei Peshkov the newspaper “Izvestia”.

Specific areas that will house the towns are still under discussion. “The expats need to have choice, – said Alexei Peshkov. – Their main requirements for housing are safety, comfort and accessibility. Thus, if an expat comes alone, it is important for him the proximity to the cultural and leisure facilities, and if with family the ecology and availability of educational institutions usually turn out to be more important,” – said the official.

As a source of funds for the construction of such a settlement, Moscow authorities see foreign investment, to attract funds from the budget for the construction is not planned. The only thing that can demand to spend the public funds is the development of services and infrastructure.

For ease of expats it is planned to increase the number of institutions participating in the International Baccalaureate, as well as schools that would work according to national programs of European countries.
