Tourists can enter Bulgaria from May 1
Bulgaria will open the summer tourist season on May 1. The country's tourism ministry notes that a number of measures will be followed. On March 15, security measures were approved for operation of hotels, cafes, restaurants and entertainment venues. The government plans to discuss digital green certificates for tourism.
Bulgarian Health Minister Kostadin Angelov specified that a green corridor is provided for tourists.
Foreign citizens should present at the border a certificate of vaccination, a medical certificate of the presence of antibodies or a negative PCR test for coronavirus.
In this case, foreign citizens will not need to undergo quarantine.
The entry of Russian tourists to Bulgaria depends on many factors.
