Russia to resume flights with Finland, Vietnam, India and Qatar
Russian authorities announced about restart of flights, suspended since the pandemic, with Vietnam, India, Finland and Qatar from January 27, 2021. This will be process based on principle of reciprocity.
Flights from Moscow will be operated several times. The operational headquarters noted that flights Moscow – Hanoi, Moscow – Delhi, Moscow – Helsinki, will be operated 2 times a week, St. Petersburg – Helsinki, 2 times a week, Moscow – Doha, 3 times a week.
Earlier Finnair announced restart of flights Helsinki – St. Petersburg route from January 27. Finland does not allow Russian tourists to enter country and does not issue tourist visas until February 9, 2021. Travelers will be able to use airport in Helsinki as transit hub.
Entry to Vietnam is allowed only with work visas. Tourist trips to India and Qatar are prohibited. Russian travelers can use airport in Doha as transit point.
Headquarters also noted increase of number of regular flights to Egypt from Moscow – Cairo up to five times a week.
