
Russia has suspended flights with airlines from 36 countries
Rosaviatsia responded with a mirror measure to the ban on flights of Russian airlines.
The message of the federal agency says that Russia has banned flights without special permission from aircraft from 36 countries.
“As a response to the ban of European states on operation of civil aircraft flights, a restriction has been introduced on operation of flights by air carriers of 36 states,” federal agency wrote in a statement.
Restrictions apply to airlines from countries such as: Austria, Albania, Anguilla, Belgium, Bulgaria, British Virgin Islands, United Kingdom, Hungary, Germany, Gibraltar, Greece, Denmark (+Greenland, Faroe Islands, Territorial Sea), Jersey, Ireland, Iceland, Spain, Italy, Canada, Cyprus, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Finland, France, Croatia, Czech Republic, Sweden, Estonia.
