Russia has extended tourist visa for Estonian citizens up to six months
Since July 8, Russia has extended validity of multiple tourist visas for Estonians from one month to six months, RIA Novosti reports.
Press officer of the Russian Embassy in Tallinn Maria Shustitskaya said that the validity of tourist visa for Estonian citizens in Russia has been extended to 6 months.
When applying for visa, Estonian citizen must provide confirmation on admission by organization, which is included in the Unified Federal Register of Tour Operators. Early tourist visas were issued only for one month.
The Russian embassy hopes that this decision will favorably affect development of cooperation in tourism field between Russia and Estonia. This will help frequent communication of citizens of neighboring countries.
For the first time since 2014, Estonia took part in the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum (SPIEF) this year.
