Rospotrebnadzor canceled quarantine for foreigners
From July 15, 2020, the Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Welfare has canceled the 14 days isolation for foreigners arriving in Russia by regular flights from countries with which it is planned to resume air traffic. Foreigners must have a negative result of the study of materials on COVID-19, selected not earlier than three days before arrival in Russia. Also, foreigners are required to undergo an examination upon arrival in Russia in the absence of a medical document confirming a negative result within three calendar days. Payment for the test is made according to Russian law.
The decree is related to Russian and foreigners citizens who enter Russia. When crossing the border, foreigners must fill out questionnaires in Russian and English that they do not have COVID-19 disease, and also submit medical certificate for detection of G antibodies (IgG).
Russian employers are obliged to inform workers that they must take COVID-19 test after crossing the border. Also, foreigners cannot get job without presenting negative test.
