Restriction force for tourists coming from Kenya
Russia has restricted entry of Kenyan citizens and tourists who were in the territory of this country during last 2 weeks. The operational headquarters for prevention of the importation and spread of new coronavirus infection in Russia also reported that Russian citizens who come from Kenya will be quarantined for 14 days. Upon arrival travelers will have to pass an express test at the airport, to go on two-week quarantine and to pass double PCR test on coronavirus.
The authorities have taken such measures to reduce risk of the spread in Russia of the Omicron variant of Covid-19.
Earlier such restrictions were imposed on those who arrived from South Africa and eight neighboring African states.
