Moscow will spend more than 32 million rubles for the brochures and maps
The Moscow government is preparing to start development and production of travel catalogues, travel guides and photo albums, – reports news agency RIA Novosti. In total for the creation of print products more than thirty-two million rubles are contributed.
Main innovative feature of catalogs and brochures is the presence of QR-codes integrated with Google Maps, which will facilitate for tourists the search of attractions, and hotels in the capital.
As the website of public procurement reports in the period up to December 15, 2011 they will issue catalogs of the Moscow companies, working in the tourism field, thematic guides, tourist maps and catalogs of Moscow hotels. For tourist-businessmen a catalog of congress facilities in Moscow will be issued.
The catalogs will be available not only on paper but in electronic form, in particular the catalog for foreign businessmen who travel from work.
Most catalogs will be printed in Russian and English languages. The most expensive product will release a 120-page album with photos of Moscow edition of 6000 copies.
The illustrated catalog about excursions in Moscow will be released in two variants. The first one is the full edition with details, photos and maps of 20 urban sightseeing routes. The second one is more compact and will include a description of the five routes. The total number of both variants will be 110 thousand copies.
