Guests of the capital can get help with new short number of information support. “From 1 August, Moscow offers tourists a new short number 122 as well as landline ten-digit number: +7 (495) 122-01-11 of the Moscow Tourist Information Support Center”. It is said in statement of press service of the Moscow committee for tourism.
Foreign tourists in Moscow can choose 2 methods of communication: landline & mobile. Number 122 works from mobile numbers of all Russian and foreign operators in Moscow and Moscow region. The ten digit landline number +7 (495) 122-01-11 works from mobile and landline phone numbers from Russia and abroad. Both calls are paid at operator`s rates.
The call center is available 24/7, without holidays and weekends. You can get advice in Russian and English. In the future, Chinese, French, German and Spanish will be available. Now 20 operators are involved in the line, which is important given the growing number of foreign tourists in Moscow.
Tourists can get information about how to pay for subway, how to get to the airport, about navigation between two points of route and bike rental. In addition, they can find out about city events and festivals, addresses of museums, stadiums, parks and other attractions. Tourists can also find out the addresses and opening hours of embassies, consulates and visa centers. In an emergency, the center staff will help tourists.
