Montenegro allowed entry to Russian citizens from August 7
Russian citizens will be able to enter Montenegro from August 7th. This was announced by the government of the country.
The Montenegrin Cabinet of Ministers allowed the entry of citizens of Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Azerbaijan, Canada and Zimbabwe without restrictions and additional conditions.
Since last week, Russia has been included in the “green” list of countries whose citizens can freely enter the Balkan Peninsula without medical certificate with negative test result for COVID-19 or quarantine.
Irina Tyurina, press secretary of the Russian Union of Travel Industry, clarified that this news will interest owners of real estate in Montenegro. The Russians will travel with transfers to Montenegro because of lack of direct flights.
The tourism sector of Montenegro is in a disastrous situation due to the spread of COVID-19. Most of the country's citizens are completely dependent on the tourism industry.
