Moscow will attract foreign specialists to create an International Financial Center

To create an International Financial Center Moscow will attract highly qualified foreign specialists, said Andrei Sharonov, the Deputy Mayor of Economic Policy, at the meeting of the Moscow City Government on September 11. As the area to accommodate the financial center it is planned to use the land on the outskirts of Moscow that will be annexed to Moscow as part of the enlargement of the capital – communicates the news agency RIA Novosti.

“We are very interested in certain categories of foreign employers. This is especially true for the highly qualified personnel and ideas associated with the development of an international financial center”, – said Andrei Sharonov.

As Mr. Sharonov has emphasized, the optimization of the labor market towards the highly efficient fields with decent vacancies and salaries for Moscow citizens and for foreign employers is a priority in the transformation of Moscow into the IFC.

The result of change must be the average growth of salaries in Moscow by 1.5 times to 59 thousand rubles in 2014, and the cost of living increase to the same date up to 12 604 rubles.

The idea of creating in Russia the IFC was announced about two years ago, and in mid-July the Russian President Dmitry Medvedev proposed to use for this purpose the Moscow outskirts, expanding the boundaries of the capital.

Then in July, the administration of development in Moscow of the International financial center in the metropolitan department of economic policy and development was created.
