In Moscow the biggest hotel Holiday Inn will be constructed
Russia plans to increase the number of hotels to one hundred opened by InterContinental Hotels Group – today the company has a total of 11 hotels in the country.
“We are confident that demand for all our hotel brands will grow by increasing the number of Russian travelers as well as a significant increase of the number of foreign tourists coming to Russia for business and leisure” – the media quotes the worlds of the vice-president Aron Libinson.
One of the newly opened five-star hotels will be InterContinental Tverskaya in Moscow. The hotel will be opened in November, it will contain 203 rooms and located in the city center – on Tverskaya Street near the Kremlin.
In 2014 in Moscow, it is planned to open the Europe's largest hotel of series Holiday Inn – for more than a thousand rooms.
At the same time Moscow not for the first time becomes a city with the most expensive hotels in Europe. According to a study of British company Hogg Robinson Group, in the first half of 2011 the average bill for a night in Moscow hotel guests of the capital cost to the guests of the capital 12.3 thousand rubles – the rising of price from the beginning of the year was 1%.
At the same time a night in Geneva or Zurich can be 10.7 and 10.4 thousand rubles, respectively.
