German government to plan to relax visa regime for young Russians
Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova announced a need to return to project about abolition of visas with the European Union. So, the diplomat commented on the intentions of the new government of Germany on potential relaxed visa regime travel for Russian nationals aged 25 and younger. She stressed that it is logical to introduce a visa-free regime for all Russians, and not for individual groups.
Zakharova noted at a briefing that the Federal Republic of Germany deliberately divides Russian citizens into “target groups.” However, the German authorities present this as support for the Russian society. The diplomat stressed that such attempts to artificially fragment Russians are perplexing.
According to her, if Germany is interested in enhancing contacts between people, then Germany needs to contact the head office of the European Union. Previously, this issue on agreement was raised by Russian diplomats, but Brussels blocked it in 2014.
