Federal Air Transport Agency allowed access to regular flights
The Federal Air Transport Agency explained that Russian airlines have gained access to regular flights to 24 countries. These are companies that have licenses for international flights: Ural Airlines, RED Wings, Pobeda, Aeroflot.
The Federal Air Transport Agency clarified that this document does not mean resumption of air traffic.
List of countries includes countries opened for visiting Belarus, Great Britain, Egypt, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Maldives, UAE, Turkey and Tanzania. Flight approvals were issued to states closed for flights — Azerbaijan, Armenia, Germany, Greece, Israel, Spain, Italy, Cyprus, China, Malta, the Netherlands, Saudi Arabia, Turkmenistan, Czech Republic, Uzbekistan.
Air carriers have also received charter licenses for Austria, Bulgaria, Hungary, Spain, France and Cuba.
Russia suspended flights with other countries at the end of March due to the spread of the new coronavirus.
