Expansion of the e-visas coverage area in Russia

From August 1, 2018, it is planned to extend the coverage area of electronic visas to Russia. Foreign citizens will be able to enter the country on electronic visas through the checkpoints in the Khabarovsk Territory, the Amur Region, Sakhalin, Kamchatka and Chukotka.

Currently, the regime of electronic visas is available only for travelers arriving in Russia through Kaliningrad and the Free Port of Vladivostok. E-visa is available for citizens of 18 states such as Algeria, Bahrain, Brunei, India, Iran, Qatar, China, DPRK, Kuwait, Morocco, Mexico, United Arab Emirates, Oman, Saudi Arabia, Singapore, Tunisia, Turkey and Japan.
