Ban on flights extended to the south of Russia until June 18

Russia’s Federal Air Transport Agency (Rosaviatsia) has extended the regime of temporary flight restrictions to 11 Russian airports in central and southern Russia until June 18.

“Temporary flight restrictions to 11 Russian airports have been extended until 03:45 AM Moscow time on June 18, 2022” the department’s website says.

Flight ban applies to the airports of Anapa, Belgorod, Bryansk, Voronezh, Gelendzhik, Krasnodar, Kursk, Lipetsk, Rostov-on-Don, Simferopol and Elista. Airlines are finding alternative routes via Sochi, Volgograd, Mineralnye Vody, Stavropol and Moscow.
