Aeroflot to resume flights to Iran from April 2
The Russian airline Aeroflot is resuming regular flights to Tehran from April 2.
Carrier said that regular flights will be carried out on Airbus A321 liners.
Flights will operate twice a week, on Wednesdays and Saturdays.
Aeroflot resumed flight program to Kyrgyzstan on March 14, to Azerbaijan from March 21. Flights to Armenia will be carried out from March 22. Flights will be operated by SSJ 100 aircraft.
Decision to cancel international flights was made after recommendation of the Federal Air Transport Agency: reason is to avoid arrests of aircraft, which began after imposition of EU sanctions.
