Italien erneuert Touristenvisa für Russen

Russians whose Italian tourist visas (Schengen visa Type C) expired after January 1, 2020 to the present can apply for a new document from May 3.

The Consulate General of Italy in Moscow announced this on its website. Registration of visas will take up to 10 working days due to the current restrictions, the validity of new visas will begin no earlier than June 1, 2021.

The Consulate General of Italy asks to draw the attention of tourists to the fact that individuals holding Schengen tourist visas cannot yet enter the territory of Italy or the countries – members of the Schengen Agreement.

According to experts, decision to reissue expired Italian Schengen visas is great news, which shows the beginning of preparations for admission of Russians.
