Transit flights to Russia for British citizens

The government of the Russian Federation has changed the procedure for entry into Russia for UK citizens and foreign citizens living in the UK with a residence permit. We are talking about the government order dated April 14, 2021 No. 963-r.

Entry into Russia is allowed with transit via third country instead of direct flight from London to Moscow. A list of countries through which this transit is permitted is offered: Germany, Greece, Finland, Serbia, Switzerland and others.

Transit through Turkey is limited.

Foreigners have to self-isolate for 14-days upon arrival.

Travelers should prepare in advance for transit to avoid problems during check-in. Each airline and transit countries may have their own rules.
