La Duma estatal puede endurecer las reglas para la entrada de extranjeros en Rusia

The amendments to the Law “On the Procedure for Exit from the Russian Federation and Entry into the Russian Federation” and “On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation” is going to be considered in May of this year by the State Duma, – quotes the Interfax the statement of the press service.

In particular, the amendments will clarify the cases when the entry of foreign nationals into the territory of Russia cannot be allowed.

So, the foreigners brought to administrative responsibility more than once in the last three years can be banned from the entry. The nationals, who violated visa regulations and were deported, will not get the entrance visa for up to five years. In the case of repeated deportation of a foreign citizen for violating the law, the period may be extended to 10 years from the date of deportation.

The Committee on Constitutional Legislation and State Building is responsible for the preparation of the amendments.
