Posible liberalización del régimen de visados ​​entre Rusia y Francia

A meeting of the Franco-Russian commission on cultural cooperation inside of which the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries will start working towards visa regime liberalization will be held in Moscow.

As noted the Deputy Minister of Culture of the Russian Federation Alla Manilova, the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of Russia and France will consider the possibility of liberalizing the visa regime between the two countries.

“Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the two countries will prepare and exchange notes in order to foresee the possible liberalization which usually includes a considerable increase in the number of long-term visas, acceleration and simplification of the visa issuance procedure”, – said Manilova .

It should be recalled that the possibility of visa liberalization will be considered in the framework of the cross-cultural year. A year of the Russian-French cultural tourism will be celebrated in 2016–2017.

The representative of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs Anne-Marie Dekot said, in her turn, that her country will issue “talent passports” for Russian citizens. These documents will allow coming to France not only talented people from cultural backgrounds, but also people from the fields of education, gastronomy, industry, technology, etc. According to the representative of the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, France will actively attract people from different fields of activity and issue visas valid for several years.
