El régimen sin visados entre Rusia y Perú entrará en vigor en junio
Agreement on visa-free regime between Russia and Peru, signed on 13 November 2010 in Yokohama, comes into force from 21 June 2011.
These changes will more affect tourists from Peru, as the Russian citizens could travel into the country without a visa before.
Crossing the border travelers will only need a passport and return ticket.
“Under the agreement Russian citizens and citizens of Peru, who hold valid passports, except of diplomatic, service and official ones giving the right to cross the border, may enter, exit, transit and stay on the territory of another country without visas for up to 90 days within each 180 days from the date of first entry”, – the agency RIA Novosti news quotes Alexei Sazonov, the deputy official representative of Russian Foreign Minister.
Those who wish to spend in the state – partner more than 90 days and be employed, the visa will be required as always.
