Rusia abolirá las cuotas para especialistas altamente calificados

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev approved the submitted to the Duma draft amendments to the Federal Law “On the Legal Status of Foreign Citizens in the Russian Federation”, which should prevent the installation of quotas for work invitations issue for the highly qualified foreign specialists, – informs the agency “Interfax”.

Thus, with the adoption of amendments the foreign specialists and their families will be able to come to work in Russia without any restrictions.

The same document prohibits the employment of highly qualified specialists in the field of commercial customer service, regardless of the specifics of goods sold (including pharmaceuticals) and forms of customer service. An exception will be made to those who coordinate and plan the trading operations.

The draft amendment is available on the website of the government of the Russian Federation. The abolition of quotas for foreign specialists will be another step in the program to attract highly qualified foreigners to work in Russia.
