Cambios en viajes al Reino Unido
The UK authorities have changed the rules for entering the country due to the spread of a new strain of coronavirus. The changes took effect on December 7th.
All people aged 12 years and over in addition required to provide the results of a PCR or an antigen test, such as LFD test (lateral flow device) which are done no later than 48 hours. They must take the test whether they qualify as fully vaccinated or not.
People must take the COVID-19 test on the second and eighth day after arrival. Also, a 10-day quarantine for new arrivals to the country remains mandatory.
The authorities clarified that passengers (other than transit travelers) must complete the Passenger Locator Form no later than 48 hours before departure. Further, confirmation QR code is sent to e-mail, which must be presented at check-in for flight.
