Régimen de visas simplificado entre Rusia y Japón
Simplified visa regime between Russia and Japan came into force on October 30, 2013 – informs the news agency Interfax.
Under the new rules of the citizens of the two countries will be able to receive multiple-entry visas for up to three years. Also the procedure for obtaining single-entry visa valid for up to 90 days is simplified. In addition, the citizens of Russia and Japan will be able to issue the direct invitations.
According to the legislators, the new rules will facilitate the process of the business and cultural cooperation between the two countries. Simplification will affect businessmen, media, spouses in mixed marriages, men of science and culture.
As the head of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov stated during the press conference, Russia is ready to negotiate with Japan to abolish the visa regime.
“We reminded our Japanese friends about the offer of President Vladimir Putin to negotiate short-term visa-free trips,” – quotes the agency “Interfax” the minister’s words.
In this case, the relaxation of the visa regime will be another step in the overall process for the abolition of visas between the two countries.
