Rusia espera reiniciar vuelos internacionales
Russia is hoping to restart international air service in July 15. It is reported that the Federal Air Transport Agency will send its proposal to restart flights to the Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing (Rospotrebnadzor). However, the decisions will be taken after the agreement of the states to receive flights from Russia.
“On the eve of June 6, the Federal Air Transport Agency held a meeting and decided to propose to restart international flights from a number of cities in Russia to 15 countries from July 15. The Federal Air Transport Agency plans to send its proposals to Rospotrebnadzor”, — said one of the airlines.
At first, Russia expects to restart the flights to 15 countries. According to the source, it is planned to open borders with European countries, with Turkey, China and South Korea.
It is emphasized that the restarting of international flights will save a part of tourism.
“The opening of flights from mid-July will save a part of tourism. Especially, the list proposed by the Federal Air Transport Agency includes 15 countries that form the majority of tourist flows to Russia”, — said the Federal Air Transport Agency.
It is necessary to recall that from March 27, Russia closed the international air traffic due to the growing number of coronavirus infections. The government decided to leave the export flights to help Russian citizens that were abroad to return home.
