Rusia y los Estados Unidos prepararon el acuerdo sobre la facilitación del régimen de visados
Russia and the United States are finalizing the ratification of the agreement on mutual visa facilitation – reports the news agency RIA Novosti from the words of Eugeny Panteleev, the deputy head of the Press Department of MFA Russia.
“At present, the process of preparing for its introduction is ending by the Government of the Russian Federation to ratification in the Federal Assembly of Russian Federation. Duration of the procedure is due to the fact that this agreement establishes other rules than those stipulated by Russian law”, – quotes the agency the words of Panteleev.
The new rules primarily relate to determining the grounds for the issuance of visa and validity (for tourists and businessmen up to three years and for officials for a year), as well as the establishment of the terms of stay for a foreigner in Russia and the procedures for obtaining invitations to enter Russia.
Exchange of Notes of an agreement on simplifying visa formalities between the U.S. and Russia has been committed November 19, 2011, when representatives of the two countries expressed their hope for an early signing of the documents.
