Rusia y Corea del Sur acordaron abolir el régimen de visados

The authorities of Russia and South Korea have agreed on plans for the abolition of the visa regime between the countries, – informs the agency “Interfax”.

Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev has instructed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to hold negotiations with the representatives of the other party.

In particular, according to the document draft, the citizens who do not plan to work, study or live a long time (for more than 60 days per visit and more than 90 days in total within six months) in the territory of another country would not need a visa.

In particular, the two countries hope that the law will provoke the development of tourism in countries, as well as contribute the improvement of relations between the two countries.

Commenting on the idea of law, Korean consul in Vladivostok, Kim Il Hwan said that “Primorye is one of the key areas for international cooperation and tourism. This summer many of our students come here on vacation, in addition, the Koreans go often to Primorye to see how our compatriots used to live here,” – the agency “RIA Novosti” quotes the official.

Also the small and medium-sized businesses will get an impetus to the development. The abolition of visa formalities will greatly facilitate contacts of businessmen from Russia and South Korea.
